Improved methods for detecting treatment effects in oncology
This project is led by Dr Paul Tar and is funded by CRUK and EPSRC through the Cambridge and Manchester Cancer Imaging Centre and by a CRUK advanced CSF grant. The project is co-supervised by Dr Neil Thacker. This work extends mathematical approaches based on linear Poisson modelling to detect treatment effects in ‘small data’ with the aim of improving power and achieving NC3Rs reduction in numbers.
